ISL Education Lending Scholarship

The ISL Education Lending Scholarship awards deposits into ISave 529 (formerly College Savings Iowa) accounts to Iowa high school students, undergraduate college students and their parents and guardians through a random drawing of registrants.

With two registration periods per academic year, the ISL Education Lending Scholarship reaches students from ninth grade through undergraduate college and the people who are helping them plan for and pay for education after high school. Each participant receives emailed tips to help them in that endeavor without borrowing too much to repay.

Student Planning Pointers for Parents

Every quarter, 40 participants are randomly selected to receive a $250 deposit to their selected student's college savings plan. Participants receive an entry into the drawing after viewing twice-monthly articles and answering two survey questions, giving them multiple entries and chances to win. In addition, there are one-time opportunities throughout the year for registered parents to win additional 529 deposits.

ISL Midwest Senior Scholarship

The ISL Midwest Senior Scholarship awards $1,000 college scholarships to 10 high school seniors from Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota or Wisconsin for the following fall. In 2023, more than 7,200 students were registered for the random drawing.
